Your Privacy Matters

Your privacy is fundamentally important to the SubGuard team. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Please take a moment to review our practices, and contact us if you have any questions.

Section 01

Summary

We take your privacy seriously and never share your personal data with any third party. SubGuard is built on a strict "no-login" architecture with zero bank connections required. By default, we only track anonymous crash reports and basic analytics to help us improve the app. This helps us understand bugs and identify which features are most useful.

If you prefer not to share crash reports and analytics, you can easily opt out in your Apple device settings:

Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements

Section 02

What We Track

By default, we track basic crash reports and anonymous usage data. When the app crashes, we receive a report explaining why it happened so we can quickly fix the bug. We also track general feature usage to help us prioritize future updates. None of this data is tied to your personal identity or financial information.

Crash Reports

Anonymous diagnostic data when the app crashes, used exclusively for bug fixes.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

General feature usage patterns — no personal or financial data, never linked to your identity.

Section 03

What We Don't Track

We do not track, collect, or store your personal or financial data. SubGuard relies on purely local, on-device AI for features like Smart Capture. We never ask for your bank credentials, email, or phone number. Anything you enter, scan, or save in the app stays entirely on your device.

If enabled, your data is securely synced across your devices via your personal Apple iCloud account. There is no way for us to access, view, or manage your subscription data. Everybody wins (except data brokers).

Section 04

What That Means for You

You are in complete control of your data, exactly as it should be. Because no personal information or financial records are stored on our servers, there is zero risk of us leaking or selling your data — we simply don't have it.

"You can build your financial shield with absolute peace of mind."
